After a challenging 2020 we are all trying to pick ourselves up and remain positive going in to 2021. With that in mind, here are a three tips to help focus your marketing this January:
- Check your website – 2020 proved to us all that digital needs to come first. Traditionally we have paid so much attention to our physical premises, but in 2021 the same thought and care needs to go in to your website. Is the SEO optimised? What is the customer journey like? Where are your leads coming from? Your website is your most valuable commodity so invest in it.
- Data, data, data – Data is your number one currency, but to really make the most of it you need to understand how you are collecting it (or not). Are you GDPR compliant? How can you better use the data you have? Get this right and you can really start your year with a bang!
- Is social media working for me? – Using social media to build your brand is standard practice these days, however, take some time to think about which channels are working best for your business and how you can focus your efforts in to content for those platforms. When times are hard and resources are stretched, its important to make sure you aren’t wasting your time or energy.
